The HLDS linux download tutorial is about how to download everything that you need to make a HLDS linux-based server.

The first thing that you need to download for hlds is the update tool. You should make a new user before (addusr "Username") (passwd "Username" "Password) then go to the username directory where we will install hlds(dir /home/"Username")

To download hldsupdatetool.bin just type in console:
wget http://www.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.bin

You should now wait to download the updatetool. You should download the AdminMod and MetaMod plus StatsMe. The command for these 2 is:
wget http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/halflifeadmin/halflife-admin-2.50.60-linux.tar.gz
and
wget http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/statsme/statsme-2.8.3-cstrike.zip
